Job summary

Careerwise Recruitment is urgently seeking an Accounts Payable specialist to join a well established Cork based engineering company, a supplier of refrigeration solutions to the industrial and commercial sector.

You will manage daily invoice processing, verification and approval, perform monthly creditor reconciliations and carry out month end procedures. Experience with SAGE or similar ERP, and strong Excel skills, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ideally 2+ years’ experience in accounts payable or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Daily management of invoice processing, verification and approval.
• Monthly creditor reconciliations.
• Liaising with suppliers to ensure accounts are correct and up to date.
• Carry out month end procedures.
• Submit monthly Intrastat returns via ROS.
• General finance department administration.

Job Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and other applicable software programs.
