Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group, based at Maldron Hotel Croke Park in Dublin, is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the finance team. You will support the day-to-day operations across five hotels, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

The role requires 1–2 years’ experience in finance or administration, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work with operational teams. Experience with Opera or Sage is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in finance, accounts or administration, ideally in hospitality.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with operational teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Opera or Sage is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support finance operations across five hotel properties.
• Assist with income audit, accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Produce routine and ad hoc financial reports.
• Work with Opera Cloud, Micros Simphony, Sage 200 and Procure Wizard.
• Assist with supplier setup, invoices, reconciliations and queries.
• Support invoicing, credit control and debtor management.
• Complete cash and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with revenue audits and financial controls.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and company policies.
