ProSource Group is recruiting an Accounting Technician for a well-established practice in Kildare. You will join a professional and supportive team, handling a varied client portfolio while progressing your career.

The role requires 3+ years in Irish accountancy, strong accounts preparation, VAT/PAYE knowledge, and proficiency in accounting software. You will liaise with clients and Revenue and support year-end duties, with study support and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in an Irish accountancy practice.
• Strong accounts preparation experience.
• Good knowledge of VAT, PAYE and tax returns.
• Proficient in accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Prepare and submit VAT and other tax returns.
• Complete bank and control account reconciliations.
• Assist with year-end accounts and financial statements.
• Liaise with clients and Revenue as required.
• Support the wider practice team with accounting and tax duties.
