Job summary

CPL is seeking a senior PE accounting professional to lead a team of managers, supervisors, and specialists in Ireland. You will oversee client deliverables, mentor staff as SME on fund structures, and drive efficiency projects within Private Equity Fund Accounting.

Your experience in accounting operations, Private Equity, and strong communication will be key to maintaining top-tier client service and regulatory compliance across a portfolio of funds.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in accounting operations or practice.
• 5+ years' experience in Private Equity (desirable).
• Strong communication and written skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables and stakeholders simultaneously while prioritising deadlines.
• Strong client relationship management skills.
• Strong knowledge of the financial services industry, its products and practices, and continued development.
• Proven Fund Accounting system experience and MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills.
• Finance or Accounting-related degree (2.1 or above desirable).

• Review periodic accounting reporting packs prepared by your team.
• Engage in and drive efficiency projects.
• Participate in marketing and sales pitches, demonstrating workflows and technologies.
• Draft performance procedures and/or operational memoranda.
• Act as a liaison to various internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• You have 7+ years' experience in accounting operations or practice.
• You have 5+ years' experience in Private Equity (desirable).
• You are a strong team player with excellent communication and written skills.
• You have the ability to manage multiple deliverables and stakeholders simultaneously while prioritising work based on deadlines.
• You possess strong client relationship management skills.
• You have strong knowledge of the financial services industry, its products and practices, and a genuine interest in continued development and learning.
• You have proven Fund Accounting system experience and strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
• You hold a Finance or Accounting-related degree (2.1 or above desirable).
