  • Review and oversee completion of NAVs and valuations.

Understanding of Irish regulatory and tax requirements relevant to fund accounting

Role Overview

Senior Consultant – Private Equity Fund Accounting Location: Limerick We are recruiting a Senior Consultant to lead and manage the Private Equity Fund Accounting team. The role focuses on ensuring high‑quality client service, meeting deadlines, and maintaining rigorous internal controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the growth and development of the Private Equity team.
  • Deliver accurate and timely client service for all deliverables.
  • Manage team workloads to consistently meet deadlines and SLAs.
  • Review and oversee completion of NAVs and valuations.
  • Enhance client reporting processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Provide coaching, training, and ongoing support to team members.
  • Promote a positive, respectful, and high‑performing team culture.
  • Ensure strong risk awareness and adherence to internal controls.
  • Act as key point of contact for clients and external auditors, managing queries.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and client reporting deadlines.
  • Provide regular and constructive feedback to support team development.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives, including offshore team development and process automation (e.g., Investran).
  • Assist in delivering departmental goals and strategic priorities.
  • Support onboarding of new clients, including fund structures and reporting requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, investors, and stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on industry, market, and regulatory developments.
Skills & Experience
  • Qualified accountant with extensive post‑qualification experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS.
  • Understanding of Irish regulatory and tax requirements relevant to fund accounting.
  • Experience or strong interest in Private Equity Fund Administration.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams.
