Job summary

Sandvik Ireland is recruiting an Accountant (Hybrid) for its Dublin office. You will provide efficient general accounting, ensure IFRS compliance and support month-end processes, reconciliations and variance analyses.

The role requires a university degree in Business or Finance and ACA/ACCA qualification with at least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational context. The position offers hybrid work, 22 days leave and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business/Finance.
• Qualified ACA/ACCA is required.
• Minimum 3 years relevant accounting experience, ideally in a large global company or Big 4.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reporting and ensure accurate accounting for P&L and balance sheet.
• Perform month-end close activities: journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Review Group reporting submissions and challenge as needed.
• Maintain robust internal controls and participate in process improvements.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Tax and Treasury to resolve issues promptly.
