Job summary

Arachas Corporate Brokers Ltd is seeking an Account Executive to join the Affinities Specialty Department. This role supports the management of an existing book, advising clients, inviting and securing renewals, and handling mid-term alterations.

Based at Arachas Head Office, Sandyford, you will work under the Team Leader within a fast-paced, high-energy team. Strong communication and teamwork are essential as you build relationships with clients and insurers.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing book of business, advise clients and secure renewals.
• Process mid-term alterations and quotations in a timely manner.
• Bind cover, issue policy documentation and manage invoicing.
• Support affinity lines sales team with queries on premiums and covers.
• Maintain accurate client records and handle insurer/client communications.
• Ensure policies are ordered, paid for and issued promptly.

Job description

This role sits within a team which forms part of the wider Affinities Specialty Department. It is a fast-paced, high energy, friendly team.

The team has underwriting authority across several Arachas Commercial Insurance Schemes. The Account Executive will share the management of an existing book of business including advising clients, inviting & securing renewals, as well as processing midterm alterations.

Role Accountabilities And Core Responsibilities

Sales and Activity Management

• Responsible for Client insurance requirements
• Renewals Ensuring renewals are invited in line with agreed protocols and procedures

Contributing to the achievement of the team’s monthly retention targets

• Binding Cover and issuing policy documentation
• Invoicing and premium collection

• Mid Term Adjustments Obtaining and offering quotations for midterm adjustments Invoicing and premium collection
• New Business

Assisting the Affinity Lines Sales Team by providing quotations in a timely manner and assisting with any queries in respect of premiums and covers

• Keep client records complete, accurate and up to date.
• Deal with incoming & outgoing calls and queries between clients and insurers
• Ensure policies are ordered, paid for and issued in a timely manner.

Customer Relationship Management

• Build effective working relationships with both new and existing customers by establishing trust, anticipating needs, sharing information and meeting commitments.
• Deal with any issues that customers may have with their policies.
• Assist Compliance in dealing with complaints

Customer Service

• Take personal responsibility for delivering the highest level of accuracy and quality in your work.
• Deal with requests and enquiries from customers, staff and management in a professional and timely manner and ensure that the complaint management standards and procedures are applied
• Demonstrate promptness, dependability, and commitment in dealing with customers
