Job summary

Mount Wolseley Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort in Carlow is seeking an Accommodation Manager to lead and optimise all accommodation operations. You will supervise housekeeping, front-of-house coordination, and maintenance to ensure the highest standards and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel accommodation operations and housekeeping leadership.
• Ability to supervise and schedule staff across departments.
• Strong guest-service orientation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rooms, furnishings and equipment to the highest standards.
• Coordinate availability of rooms with Reception and manage VIP/long-stay guest needs.
• Schedule staff according to occupancy forecasts and adjust as needed.
• Supervise accommodation operations and ensure timely follow-up on issues.
• Manage cleaning programmes and Lost and Found handling.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and hotel procedures.
• Attend department and management meetings and ensure uniform standards.
