Job summary

Barden is seeking a Financial Accountant in Cork to own ledger and month-end close for wind farm entities. You will gain exposure to electricity market revenues, lender reporting, and treasury, with the potential to progress quickly within the business.

The role targets a recently qualified ACA with strong technical accounting, reporting and statutory experience, and offers broad exposure across management reporting and external audits in a growing energy portfolio.

Qualifications

• ACA qualification and strong technical accounting/reporting skills.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, balance sheet control.
• Statutory accounts and external audit experience.
• Confident with management accounts, budgets and variance analysis.
• Strong stakeholder skills across operations, lenders and auditors.

Responsibilities

• Own the general ledger and month-end close for wind farm entities.
• Understand electricity market revenues and support schemes.
• Lead budgets and monthly management reporting.
• Prepare lender reporting and monitor covenant compliance.
• Oversee payment runs and treasury controls.
• Prepare statutory accounts and manage the external audit end-to-end.
