Job summary

Barden is delighted to partner with a fast-growing, Irish-owned business in Dublin West to hire an Accounts Assistant for a brand new role in the finance team. This entry-level position offers hands-on mentorship from day one and a clear path to grow, including alongside ACCA, ACA, or CIMA studies.

You will learn the full receivables cycle, handle daily bank transactions, and gain exposure to month-end close while supporting a growing finance function.

Qualifications

• Pursuing ACCA, ACA or CIMA studies.
• 1+ years in a similar role is a bonus.
• Strong Excel and systems skills.
• Growth mindset and willingness to learn.
• Confident communicating with people at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Learn the full receivables cycle from invoicing to collection.
• Build credit control experience by keeping customer accounts on track.
• Resolve payment queries and liaise with customers and colleagues.
• Handle daily bank transactions and reconciliations.
• Get hands-on exposure to month-end close.
• Learn from experienced finance professionals who will support your development.
