Job summary

Anduril Industries offers a Spring/Summer 2027 Software Engineer Internship in Dublin. This paid, in-person program lets interns contribute to customer deployments and internal software initiatives across deployment, OS, and QA teams.

You will work on real projects, learn from experienced engineers, and gain exposure to embedded Linux, hypervisor tech, and cloud infrastructure while making an impact in defense technology.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
• Must be returning to University at end of internship for at least one academic year
• Familiarity with algorithms, data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools.
• Proficiency in Python, C, Java (and optionally other languages).
• Ability to complete an in-person internship in Dublin office.

Responsibilities

• Support the software solutions deployed to customers and key stakeholders.
• Triage issues, root cause failures, and coordinate next-steps.
• Work on real, meaningful projects and learn from experienced professionals.
• Deployment team: manage remote monitoring software to provision/maintain devices in the field.
• OS team: work on embedded Linux OS, hypervisor, containerisation, routing protocols, and hardware features.
• Software QA team: assist testing, automation, and regression tests.

We are seeking Software Engineer Interns for Spring/Summer 2027! This is a paid, in-person, internship.The Voyager team at Anduril Industries is an engineering and design division with vast experience in developing innovative computing and communications solutions for the network edge. We specialize in integrating enterprise networking capabilities from global IT leaders with purpose-built hardware and software platforms designed to meet the most stringent environmental requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Support the software solutions that are deployed to customers and key stakeholders.
• Triage issues, root cause failures, and coordinate next-steps.
• Work on real, meaningful projects and learn from experienced professionals along the way.
• You may be working on:
• Deployment team: Responsible for our remote monitoring software suite which allows customers to manage/provision/maintain multiple devices in the field.
• OS team: Responsible for our embedded linux-based OS, including hypervisor and containerisation, routing protocols, and enabling the hardware features.
• Software QA team: Supporting the development process in the above teams, testing new features, automating and maintaining regression tests

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or any related field.
• Must be returning to University at the end of the internship to continue academic studies for at least one academic year
• Familiarity with algorithms, data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools.
• Proficiency in a variety of programming languages such as Python, C, Java, or Python.
• A desire to work on software and applications that have real-world impact.
• Ability to complete an in-person internship in our Dublin office.

• Have a bias for action. If you see a problem, you want to solve and fix it.
• Be naturally curious about the technologies and tools you use.
• Be able to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
