Plan Indonesia is seeking a Youth Engagement Coordinator (YEC) to strengthen meaningful, safe, inclusive, and accountable youth participation across programmes. You translate engagement strategies into practical tools, guide staff and partners, and foster networks with youth-led organizations and communities.

You will work with the Youth Engagement Manager to implement youth-centered approaches, support capacity-building, and ensure high-quality programme delivery in Jakarta-based projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years’ experience leading or coordinating youth‑led programmes, campaigns, advocacy, or related initiatives.
• Strong experience in meaningful youth participation and designing/implementing youth engagement programmes.
• Experience in youth advocacy, policy engagement, and partnerships with youth‑led organizations, government, and other stakeholders.
• Strong facilitation and coordination skills, and good written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Responsabilités

• Translate Youth Engagement Strategy into practical plans, tools, and activities across programmes and advocacy.
• Provide support to youth-led groups in developing strategies and action plans for sustainability and impact.
• Offer technical guidance for youth-led programmes, campaigns, and movement-building.
• Support identification of barriers to meaningful youth participation and recommend adaptive approaches.
• Document milestones, outcomes, and learning; contribute to reporting on youth‑led programmes.
