Job summary

Valmet in Cikarang, Indonesia, is seeking a Workshop Machinist to operate and maintain workshop machinery, manufacture and repair components to specifications, and support production schedules.

You will read technical drawings, perform lathe operations and basic mechanical maintenance, monitor machine condition, and uphold quality and safety standards while collaborating with the Workshop Supervisor and team.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree (Diploma) in a Technical or Engineering field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's Degree in a Technical or Engineering field.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance.
• MS Office proficiency; CAD/CAM knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines and production equipment safely and according to procedures.
• Manufacture and repair components to specifications and production targets.
• Load materials efficiently to support workflow.
• Unload, sort, and pack materials and finished products safely.
