Job summary
RISE Housing and Support Services in Ballston Spa, NY is seeking a compassionate RN to join the RISE Above program. The successful candidate will oversee weekend coverage, assist with admissions and treatment planning, and advocate for residents with high-quality nursing care.
This role offers a starting wage of $38 per hour with a $3,000 sign-on bonus after six months, plus generous PTO and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- NYS Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Ability to operate independently and follow training.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal boundaries.
- Shared belief in compassion, respect, positivity, and inclusion.
- Clearance with all background checks as per policies.
- Valid NY Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
Responsibilities
- Support LPN and medication room oversight during weekend hours.
- Oversee the medication room with medical director support.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and treatment planning.
- Acclimate residents to surroundings, program philosophy and expectations.
- Participate in crisis intervention.
- Comply with all regulations governing the program.
