About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Staff member to join PT NOVA MODULAR INDONESIA in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our warehousing and distribution operations. As a Warehouse Staff member, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods through our facility, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting the broader logistics objectives of the company. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver quality service to our clients and maintain operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Receiving, unloading and inspecting incoming shipments and inventory to verify accuracy and condition
• Organising and storing goods in designated warehouse locations using appropriate storage methods
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock counts
• Picking and packing orders according to specifications and ensuring proper labelling
• Loading outgoing shipments onto vehicles with care to prevent damage
• Operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Assisting with the organisation and logistics of warehouse operations to optimise space and workflow
• Reporting any discrepancies, damaged goods or equipment issues to supervisory staff promptly

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution centre or similar logistics environment
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items regularly (up to 25 kg) and perform manual handling tasks
• Proficiency in operating standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks or conveyor systems
• Strong attention to detail with accuracy in counting and record-keeping
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to following safety protocols and maintaining a clean working environment
• Willingness to work flexible shifts if required
• Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems is advantageous
