Job summary

AlloFresh seeks a Warehouse Operations Leader to oversee end-to-end warehouse activities, including inbound, storage, picking, packing and outbound processes, ensuring on-time fulfillment in a high-volume e-grocery setting.

You will implement SOPs for inventory, FIFO/FEFO, shrinkage control, and cold chain compliance; monitor KPIs like order fulfillment, accuracy, and cost per order; lead a large warehouse team and collaborate with Supply Chain, Logistics, Commercial, and Tech.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years in warehouse or distribution center operations.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role managing large warehouse teams.
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes and inventory management.
• Hands-on experience with WMS and warehouse performance reporting.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume operations under tight SLA and time pressure.
• Strong people management and communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee end-to-end warehouse operations (inbound, storage, picking, packing, outbound).
• Ensure operations meet SLA, productivity, cost efficiency, and accuracy in a high-volume e-grocery environment.
• Develop and implement SOPs related to inventory control, FIFO/FEFO, shrinkage prevention, and cold chain compliance.
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as order fulfillment rate, picking accuracy, inventory accuracy, and cost per order.
• Manage manpower planning, recruitment, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Logistics, Commercial, and Tech teams to support demand spikes and new initiatives.
• Oversee inventory management, cycle counting, and reconciliation to minimize variance, loss, and damage.
• Ensure safety, hygiene, and food handling standards, including cold storage requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, layout redesign, and warehouse tech adoption (WMS, scanning, automation).
• Prepare and present regular operational reports and improvement plans to management.
