Job summary

Desa Potato Head Bali, part of Potato Head Group, is seeking a Waiter/Waitress to join our Food & Beverage Service team. This guest-facing role focuses on warm, attentive service and guiding guests through the menu to create memorable experiences.

Reporting to the F&B Supervisor, you will collaborate with culinary and bar teams to ensure correct timing, presentation and a refined dining experience for guests from Bali and around the world.

Qualifications

• Experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality.
• Knowledge of sequence of service, table settings and etiquette.
• Knowledge of ingredients, preparation methods and beverage pairing.
• Good spoken English and customer-focused communication.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warm, personalised service from arrival through departure.

We are looking for a Waiter/Waitress to join our Food & Beverage Service team. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Supervisor, this is a guest-facing role for someone who enjoys connecting with people and creating thoughtful, memorable dining experiences.

A major part of the role is bringing the Potato Head experience to life through warm, attentive and knowledgeable service. The Waiter/Waitress will guide guests through the menu, anticipate their needs, and work closely with the culinary and bar teams to ensure every experience feels smooth, personal and welcoming.

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests and deliver warm, personalised service from arrival through departure.
• Present the menu with confidence, explain ingredients and preparation methods, and offer thoughtful food and beverage recommendations.
• Coordinate closely with the culinary and bar teams to ensure each course is served with the right timing, presentation and attention to detail.
• Anticipate guest preferences and help create a refined, memorable dining experience that reflects the restaurant's concept.

What You Bring

• Previous experience in a fine dining, specialty restaurant or upscale hospitality environment is preferred.
• A strong understanding of sequence of service, table settings, course timing and dining etiquette.
• Good knowledge of food, ingredients, preparation methods and basic food and beverage pairing.
• Good spoken English, with polished communication skills and a genuine interest in creating personalised guest experiences.
