Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a Vice President of Project Management to lead the PMO, align major initiatives with business priorities, and provide executive oversight across programs. You will establish governance, drive portfolio strategy, and partner with Finance, Operations, Product, and Technology to ensure successful delivery in a fully remote US environment.

The role requires 12+ years in project management, 5+ years leading PMOs, and strong executive communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Operations, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive project and program management experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading project management organizations, PMOs, or enterprise-level programs.
• Strong understanding of portfolio management, governance, budgeting, and reporting.
• Experience building scalable project management processes and leadership pipelines.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the company’s project management strategy, operating model, standards, and governance framework.
• Provide executive oversight of the project and program portfolio with alignment to business priorities.
• Oversee planning and execution of complex, high-priority projects and programs.
• Establish governance, reporting, and decision-making processes for portfolio visibility.
• Partner with senior leadership to translate strategic initiatives into actionable plans.
• Forecast resources, plan capacity, and balance demand with capacity.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and financial aspects of projects.
• Deliver executive-level reporting on status, budgets, and outcomes.
• Lead and develop project management leaders and cross-functional teams.
