Job summary

IIX Global is seeking a Senior Director of Membership & Commercial Partnerships to drive fee-based memberships and partnerships across Asia, including Southeast Asia. You will lead the founding-member campaign, shape the membership model with leadership, and build a robust pipeline of financial institutions, corporates, and DFIs.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in business development, partnerships, or membership roles.
• Proven track record of selling paid memberships or fee-based partnerships, not only grants.
• Existing network among financial institutions, corporates, or DFIs in Asia, ideally Southeast Asia.
• Comfortable owning a revenue number and being measured against it.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and written communication skills.
• Experience working with a CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).

Responsibilities

• Founding‑Member Campaign & Membership Growth: Build and manage a qualified pipeline of prospective members; Lead pitches and close founding and new members; Convert existing partners into paying members; Cover Southeast Asia directly and coordinate regional pipelines.
• Membership Model & Value Proposition: Design membership tiers, pricing, and benefits; Test and refine value proposition based on feedback; Package convening, working‑group participation, research, and training into clear member benefits.
• Commercial Partnerships: Structure fee‑based partnerships (paid training, data, or program partnerships) that fit the membership model; Package member benefits with IIX teams.
• Retention & Member Experience: Own renewals and member retention; Run structured onboarding and account reviews; Track satisfaction and act on churn risks.
• Performance & Reporting: Report monthly on pipeline, closed revenue, and renewals; Maintain CRM records; Contribute to annual business plan and revenue forecasts.
