Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program activities for IIRI and women-led/impact enterprises.

About The Role

IIX is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Vice President (AVP)/Vice President (VP) to collaborate closely with the Indonesia Program Director for our flagship program in Indonesia, Impact Investment Readiness for Indonesia or IIRI. The successful candidate will combine expertise in research, sustainability, ESG, SME development, and regulatory analysis with strong program management and business development skills.

The AVP/VP will be responsible for driving research and content development, managing program execution, building partnerships, supporting fundraising, and expanding IIX's impact in Indonesia. This role requires strategic thinking, disciplined execution, and a strong passion for inclusive finance and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Coordination
• Support the execution of the IIRI program and other initiatives for women-led and impact enterprises.
• Assist in coordinating program activities, including landscape study, pipeline development, enterprise support, stakeholder meetings, and logistics.
• Help coordinate the development and delivery of localized training program, leveraging existing IIX's training modules and materials.
• Help track program progress, collect data for impact measurement (e.g., using IIX Values™), and prepare internal and donor reports.
• Ensure deliverables are completed on time and aligned with organizational and donor requirements.
• Stakeholder & Partnership Support
• Assist in engaging with program partners such as donors, investors, government agencies, financial institutions, and local ecosystem players.
• Help maintain relationships with stakeholders and support partner outreach efforts.
• Support coordination of meetings, workshops, and forums related to impact investing and gender-lens finance.
• Business Development & Market Support
• Assist in researching market trends, potential partners, and funding opportunities in sustainable finance and impact investment.
• Help prepare concept notes, presentations, proposals, and supporting materials for advisory, investment, or funding opportunities.
• Support in expanding IIX's network in Indonesia and actively identify potential business opportunities.
• Support efforts to identify impact enterprises and help them build investment readiness.
• Operations & Administration
• Provide operational and administrative support for program implementation and country activities.
• Assist in managing documentation, budgeting, expense tracking, and coordination with the finance and administrative teams.
• Support event planning, logistics, and communications related to program activities or stakeholder engagements.
• Team Support
• Work closely with the Indonesia team and regional colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of program objectives.
• Provide general support for project planning, meeting coordination, and follow-up actions.
• Contribute to a collaborative, mission-driven work environment.

You also understand that your duties may include providing support and guidance on other initiatives and programs within IIX across countries, performing work for IIX's affiliates, and IIX Foundations from time to time and any other duties required. You will also be involved in ad hoc projects as and when required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master's degree (preferred) in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Economics, Business, Public Policy, or related field.
• 8–12 years (AVP) of relevant experience in program management, sustainability, ESG, research, and business development.
• Proven expertise in regulatory compliance, ESG frameworks, and sustainability practices in Indonesia.
• Demonstrated experience in fundraising, partnership building, and donor engagement.
• Strong program management track record: planning, budgeting, execution, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Bahasa Indonesia proficiency is required.
