MSIG in Jakarta seeks an experienced Underwriter for Property & Miscellaneous (Retail) to drive growth in Non-Marine retail products through rigorous risk assessment and timely underwriting.

The role emphasizes product development, portfolio reviews, and cross-department collaboration to achieve targets while maintaining quality and compliance with AAAIK standards. Direct Employee position based in Indonesia.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years experience as Underwriter for property and other miscellaneous products.
• Experience underwriting retail or e-commerce businesses.
• Certified in AAAIK / AAIK.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive risk assessment of retail business proposals.
• Increase profitability of Non-Marine retail business with prudent underwriting.
• Develop Non-Marine retail portfolio and conduct regular reviews.
• Speed up underwriting processes to meet time standards.
• Develop new Non-Marine retail products and review progress.
• Support Production colleagues with knowledge sharing and presentations.
• Maintain good communication with Production and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive risk assessment of retail business proposal to achieve Compay’s target
• To increase profitability of Non-Marine retail business with prudent underwriting assessment to achieve Compay’s target
• Develop Non-Marine retail business portfolio to achieve Compay’s target and conduct regular portfolio review
• Speed up underwriting process to achieve 90% of all process within process time duration standard
• Develop new Non Marine retail products and regularly review product progress
• Support Production colleagues by conducting internal knowledge sharing and/or presentation to client or business partner
• Maintain good communication and collaboration with Production Department and other Section/Department

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any major
• Minimum 5 years experience as Underwriter property and other miscellaneous product
• Experienced in underwrite retail business and/or e-commerce business
• Certified in AAAIK / AAIK
• Good command in English, both written and spoken
• Fair knowledge using Ms. Office
• Good communication and presentation skills
