Job summary

Sun Life Indonesia is seeking a seasoned product professional to lead life-insurance initiatives from concept through launch in Jakarta Selatan. You will work with distribution, marketing and actuarial teams to shape propositions and drive performance.

With at least five years in life insurance product roles and a CLI certification, you will analyze market trends, design pricing considerations, and ensure regulatory approvals while communicating clearly in English across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in life insurance with 2+ years in product development/management/marketing.
• Valid Certificate of Life Insurance (CLI) or equivalent certification.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all product initiatives are delivered based on timeline & preparation marketing materials related to new initiatives product.
• Propose & discussion for new initiatives product related propositioning, value & marketing sides.
• Moderator Product Development Governance meeting with related parties.
• Preparation materials for discussion product with Distribution & Marketing Team.
• Support OJK submission & feedback product.
• Preparation slides material for Training to Trainer & Training to Operations Team.
• Lead Socialization Product.
• Provide product performance reports after launch.
• Analyze & comparison market insurance products.
• Lead development website company.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or other relevant disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the life insurance industry, including at least 2 years of experience in product development, product management, or product marketing.
• Hold a valid Certificate of Life Insurance (CLI) or equivalent insurance certification
• Strong understanding of life insurance products, customer needs, and market dynamics.
• Proven knowledge of insurance product development processes, including product design, pricing considerations, regulatory requirements, and product launch activities.
• Proficient in conducting market research and translating insights into product strategies and business recommendations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and emerging technologies, including AI-based tools, to support product innovation and decision-making.
• Good command of both written and spoken English.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience collaborating with distribution channels, actuarial, compliance, operations, and marketing teams.
• Familiarity with insurance regulations and product approval processes in Indonesia.
