Job summary

Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology is seeking a Technical Advisor based in the Papua region of Indonesia. You will support underground drill and bolter equipment to ensure reliability, safety, and high availability for the mining fleet.

The role emphasizes hands-on technical troubleshooting and collaboration with service teams. Applicants should have seven-plus years’ experience in underground mining equipment maintenance, strong mechanical/electrical/hydraulics knowledge, and the ability to

Qualifications

Trade qualified or equivalent in mechanical, electrical or hydraulic disciplines.
Minimum seven years’ experience maintaining underground drill and bolting equipment.
Strong understanding of underground drilling and bolting principles and Sandvik products.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for a fleet of Sandvik underground drills and bolters.
Coordinate reliability feedback and address fleet issues or concerns.
Assist service personnel with technical issues and spare parts inquiries.
Mentor and upskill local workforce in safe service and maintenance practices.
Collaborate with General Manager and Technical Support Manager on EH&S initiatives and training needs.
