Job summary

PT Freeport Indonesia Inc. is seeking an experienced Mine Underground Engineering professional to organize and supervise shift crews on chute construction projects within the GBC domain.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance with SHE standards, and meeting production targets while coordinating with haulage facilities and other related works. The ideal candidate has civil/mining engineering background with underground experience and proven leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Civil/Mining Engineer with a minimum of 3 years underground project experience
• Senior High School with a minimum of 10 years proven underground construction experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to monitor multiple activities and ensure safety and schedule adherence

Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise crews on shift to deliver chute construction projects
• Monitor activities and processes to support production targets
• Communicate SHE policies and ensure safety and zero accidents
• Ensure equipment and materials are used by certified personnel
• Supervise subordinates in Haulage area and related facilities
• Provide daily reports and handover information to next shift
• Offer recommendations to prevent unsafe activities and improve systems
