Job summary

PT Freeport Indonesia Inc. seeks a Mine Underground Engineer for the GBC Chute Gallery Maintenance & Repair project to support production targets and uphold safety standards.

You will review maintenance plans, manage scheduling, and mentor subordinates and contractors while driving quality in underground construction initiatives within a demanding mining environment.

Strong background in UG mining, scheduling, and project management is required to ensure project success and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma with relevant UG mining experience.
• Experience in UG construction projects.
• Experience in setting up scheduling systems and managing projects.
• Ability to meet safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review chute maintenance plan and project breakdown for manpower and supervision.
• Review material and equipment usage plans and schedule deliveries.
• Train and develop chute maintenance subordinates and contractors.
• Control work quantity and quality to meet production requirements.
• Improve Chute Gallery Infrastructure Inspection & Monitoring System implementation.
• Ensure scheduling systems and project management practices are followed.
