Job summary

PT Freeport Indonesia Inc. is seeking a Mine Underground - Foreman, Development Ore Hauling to lead shift teams and oversee ore and waste hauling in underground facilities. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to procedures, and achievement of daily targets in DMLZ and PB4.

The Foreman will ensure proper resource use, monitor performance, and maintain discipline while guiding crews to meet underground operation goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering with at least 2 years' experience in underground operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct shift activities of development ore and waste muck hauling and equipment in underground areas to achieve safe and efficient operation goals.
• Provide leadership to shift crews to achieve daily shift plans and underground mining operation goals.
• Maintain safety and health standards in underground areas and enforce proper procedures.
• Inspect working areas to identify unsafe acts/conditions and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor manpower and equipment to meet shift goals and KPIs; address issues impacting crew morale.
