Job summary

PT Freeport Indonesia is seeking a Geo Engineering Engineer (UG Geotech) to lead geotechnical design, monitoring and support for underground mine facilities. The candidate should have a geology/geotechnical background with at least 3 years of underground mining experience and be energetic to work in the field.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Geological, Mining or Civil Engineering with 3 years of experience.
• Knowledge of basic rock mechanics and geotechnical engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide geotechnical recommendations and services to underground mine projects.
• Analyze ground condition and design support or repair for UG facilities.
• Monitor drift and area stability using geotechnical devices.
• Develop training and supervise junior staff in geotechnical tasks.
• Ensure timely analysis and communication with clients on geotechnical issues.
