Sinar Mas membuka peluang kerja untuk Tropical Oil Analyst di Jakarta. Peran ini fokus pada pengumpulan data, evaluasi informasi, dan pengembangan model supply–demand minyak kelapa sawit dengan proyeksi 18 bulan serta rekomendasi strategi trading berbasis fakta.

Posisi ini menuntut gelar sarjana, minimal 3 tahun pengalaman di analisis minyak kelapa sawit, serta kemampuan analitis dan komunikasi yang baik. Fasih berbahasa Inggris; Mandarin adalah nilai tambah, ditempatkan di kantor pusat Jakarta.

Qualifications

• Gelar sarjana di bidang apa pun diwajibkan.
• Pengalaman minimal 3 tahun sebagai Trading Palm Oil Analyst.
• Keterampilan analitis dan komunikasi yang kuat.
• Kemampuan berbahasa Inggris lancar; Mandarin menjadi kelebihan.

Responsibilities

• Kumpulkan data & informasi serta kembangkan model penawaran & permintaan minyak kelapa sawit berskala dunia.
• Analisis data, evaluasi peramalan vs pasar, dan komunikasikan temuan serta rekomendasi trading.
• Berikan panduan kepada fungsi trading terkait pengumpulan informasi & model suplai & permintaan negara.
• Pimpin rapat analisis fundamental mingguan, jelaskan perubahan pasokan & permintaan dengan grafik.
• Jaga keamanan & akses data untuk disiplin data suplai & permintaan perusahaan.

Job Description :

1. Collection of data & information

• Carry out crop surveys in Indonesia
• Assist in developing and maintaining a world- wide supply and demand model on palm oil with a 18 month outlook with a stress on fact – based information.
• Collaborate with our asset and trading businesses to harness data and information
• Keeping organized records of data, documents, models, analysis and reports in order to facilitate review and other analysis and forecast
• Develop and maintain contacts with key industry players
• Continue to make improvements on our data and information gather channels and models in order to create an edge over the industry

2. Analysis

• Interpret and assemble data affecting our supply and origination assumptions
• Evaluate and compare our forecast vs the rest of the market

3. Resource Centre

• Provide guidance and advise to others ( trading and other business functions) in the areas of information gathering and assist in developing supply and demand models of individual countries
• Provide data upon request to allow for specific analysis to others
• Keeping abreast of developments in the industry, such as, bio- energy and vegetable oils substitutions.
• Act as the gatekeeper of our supply and demand data and information in order to streamline collection, dissemination and protection of our proprietary data and information.

4. Communication

• Lead our weekly fundamental analysis meeting, highlighting key changes to both supply and demand, providing explanations and revisiting our forecast on these factors.
• Communicate clearly our findings and analysis, using charts and graphs as supports.
• On a daily basis, communicate changes to the SnD grids.

Job Requirement :

• Min Bachelor Degree in any field
• Having min 3 years of working experience in Trading Palm Oil Analyst
• Good in analytical thinking and communication skill
• Fluent in English, can speak Mandarin could be an advantages
• Willing to be located in Head Office Jakarta
