Job summary

PT SCG Barito Logistics seeks a Transportation Sourcing Deputy Assistant Manager to lead sourcing and procurement of inland and sea freight, barges, and other modes. You will negotiate rates, analyze costs, manage vendor performance, and oversee RFQs to optimize costs and service levels.

With 2–4 years in transportation procurement, you will drive bids, plan routes, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Logistics, Economics, or related field.
• 2–4 years in transportation procurement, strategic sourcing, or logistics.
• Strong contract negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Strong analytical capabilities for cost and performance data.
• Willingness to conduct field visits to resolve issues.
• Proficient in SAP and MS Office; TMS experience is preferred.
• Proficient English communication in professional role.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate competitive rates, contracts, and SLAs with logistics providers.
• Maintain and evaluate a portfolio of transport vendors for pricing & reliability.
• Oversee bidding process for transportation services and RFQ analyses.
• Plan cost‑effective distribution routes to program sites.
• Track goods in real time and resolve supply chain bottlenecks.
• Ensure compliance with local/international transport laws and safety standards.
• Develop contingency plans for disruptions and manage cargo insurance & claims.
• Prepare budgets and monitor transportation expenses to optimize costs.
• Use KPIs to measure on-time delivery, capacity, and vendor performance.
