Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Indonesia is seeking a Transport Planning & Networking Executive to design, plan, and continuously improve transportation networks that deliver exceptional service.

You will drive route planning, capacity allocation, and network optimization while collaborating with Operations, Customer Service, and Commercial teams to support Modern Trade and retail replenishment requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a logistics or related field.
• 4–5 years in Transportation Planning, Logistics Ops, or Network Management.
• 1–2 years in a similar Transportation Planning or Network Management role.
• Experience in FMCG, Retail, Logistics, 3PL, or Distribution is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of Modern Trade operations and OTIF performance management.

Your Impact as Transport Planning & Networking Executive

As a key member of the Transportation team, you will:

Drive Transportation Planning Excellence

• Develop and execute transportation plans that optimize cost, service, and operational efficiency
• Support route planning, capacity allocation, and transportation resource utilization
• Ensure transportation activities align with customer requirements and business objectives

Optimize Distribution Networks

• Analyze and improve transportation networks to support business growth and operational effectiveness
• Identify opportunities for network optimization, route efficiency, and cost reduction
• Support strategic initiatives related to distribution network design and continuous improvement

Support Modern Trade Operations

• Partner with customers and operations teams to support Modern Trade distribution requirements
• Ensure transportation planning aligns with retail replenishment schedules, delivery windows, and customer service expectations
• Drive compliance with retail operational requirements and service standards

Monitor Service Performance

• Track and analyze transportation performance indicators, including OTIF (On Time In Full) and service delivery metrics
• Identify service gaps and implement corrective actions to improve operational performance
• Support customer satisfaction through reliable and efficient transportation solutions

Collaborate Across Functions

• Work closely with Operations, Transportation, Customer Service, and Commercial teams to align planning activities with business requirements
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective execution of transportation plans
• Support the successful implementation of new customers, projects, and network enhancements

Drive Continuous Improvement

• Utilize data and analytical insights to improve transportation efficiency and network effectiveness
• Support process improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, cost management, and service quality
• Contribute to the development of scalable and future‑ready transportation solutions

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an analytical and commercially minded logistics professional with strong transportation planning and network management capabilities.

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Management Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in Transportation Planning, Logistics Operations, Distribution Network Management, or Supply Chain Planning
• At least 1–2 years of experience in a similar Transportation Planning or Network Management role
• Experience within FMCG, Retail, Logistics, 3PL, or Distribution environments is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of Modern Trade operations, including:
  • Distribution models
  • Retail replenishment processes
  • Delivery scheduling
  • OTIF (On Time In Full) performance management
  • Customer service requirements
  • Retail compliance standards
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Experience in transportation optimization, route planning, and network analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced operational environment
