Transport Manager role in a logistics company certified with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and AEO. The position involves managing trucking operations to optimize fleet utilization and productivity while meeting KPI targets, with placement in North Jakarta.

Key responsibilities

Manage trucking operations to optimize fleet utilization and productivity while meeting KPI targets (punctuality and fulfilment)

Analyze operational problems and process failures, and provide necessary solutions and corrective actions

Lead and supervise the operational team and drivers to achieve optimal work productivity

Conduct training and competency development for the entire team

Ensure KPI achievement and carry out evaluations and follow-ups when discrepancies occur

Bridge communication between internal stakeholders and customers to ensure smooth operations

Maintain working relationships and evaluate vendor performance

Ensure all operational activities comply with occupational safety standards and applicable regulations

About you

Minimum Bachelor's degree (S1) from any major

Minimum 5 years of experience in trucking operations, particularly in managing trailer truck fleets (more than 50 units) and vendor management

Experience in a reputable trucking company is an advantage

Strong understanding of end-to-end export-import processes and trucking operational calculations, including trip money, operating costs, utilization, productivity, profitability, and fleet capacity

Strong knowledge of trucking mapping, fleet allocation, and operational safety standards (SOP, HSE, and ISO)

Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions (NCR/CARP/CAPA)

Excellent communication skills with both internal and external parties

Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work fast and multitask
