Job summary

PT HUAMING POWER INDONESIA is seeking a Mandarin Translator / Director's Assistant to support the Director with language interpretation and secretarial tasks in a corporate setting in West Java. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree related to Mandarin studies or business, demonstrates strong Mandarin with English and Indonesian proficiency, and has 1–2 years of translation/interpretation experience.

Willing to be placed in Cikarang.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mandarin Chinese Literature, IR, BA, or related field.
• Strong Mandarin with English and Indonesian proficiency; HSK5 preferred.
• 1–2 years interpreting/translation experience; fresh graduates with high proficiency welcome.
• Excellent communication, professional appearance and corporate etiquette.
• Willing to be placed in Cikarang, West Java.

Responsibilities

• Interpret for the Director during meetings, discussions, visits, and negotiations.
• Translate documents and communications between Mandarin, Indonesian, and English.
• Bridge communication between Director, management, staff, and external partners.
• Assist in managing the Director's daily schedule and secretarial tasks.

Mandarin Translator / Director's Assistant Qualifications

General Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (S1) preferably in Mandarin Chinese Literature, International Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Excellent oral and written command of Mandarin Chinese (minimum HSK Level 5 certification preferred), alongside proficiency in English and Indonesian.
• 1-2 years of experience as an interpreter or translator, preferably within a corporate or manufacturing environment (fresh graduates with exceptional language proficiency are welcome to apply).
• Professional communication skills, a polished appearance, and a strong understanding of corporate business etiquette and work culture.
• Willing to be placed in the Cikarang area, West Java.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Accompany the Director as an interpreter during meetings, internal/external discussions, business visits, and negotiations.
• Translate operational documents, reports, official correspondence, emails, and technical materials accurately between Mandarin, Indonesian, and English.
• Act as an effective communication bridge between the Director, management, internal staff, and external partners.
• Assist in managing the Director's daily schedule, work agenda, and general secretarial administrative tasks.
