Qualifications

• Good command of Mandarin, both spoken and written.
• Good communication in Bahasa Indonesia and/or English.
• Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Translate Mandarin Bahasa Indonesia/English for written and verbal communication.
• Translate documents, reports, presentations, emails, chat conversations, and other business materials.
• Provide interpretation support during meetings, training sessions, and daily activities.
• Ensure information is communicated accurately between Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and the local team.
• Assist in clarifying Mandarin-related communication, instructions, and project requirements.
• Support daily coordination with Mandarin-speaking team members or client representatives.
• Review translated materials for accuracy, consistency, and context.

Job description

We are currently looking for a Mandarin Translator to support communication and daily operations between our team and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

As a Mandarin Translator, you will be responsible for supporting effective communication between Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and the local team, ensuring information is translated accurately and clearly.

• Translate Mandarin Bahasa Indonesia/English for both written and verbal communication.
• Translate documents, reports, presentations, emails, chat conversations, and other business materials.
• Provide interpretation support during meetings, discussions, training sessions, and daily team activities.
• Ensure information and instructions are communicated accurately between Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and the local team.
• Assist in clarifying Mandarin-related communication, instructions, and project requirements.
• Support daily coordination with Mandarin-speaking team members or client representatives.
• Review translated materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and proper context.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling business, project, or client-related information.
• Assist with ad hoc tasks related to project operations and administrative activities.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or project team.

• Good command of Mandarin, both spoken and written.
• HSK 3 certification or equivalent Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and/or English.
