Job summary

Pengiklan Anonim is seeking a commodity trader based in Jakarta to lead sales and purchasing of corn, soybeans, and sugar. Fresh graduates are welcome; postgraduate degree preferred.

You will negotiate prices, ensure quality and timely deliveries, build relationships with partners and government entities, monitor market trends, and coordinate logistics to fulfill contracts. Willingness to travel across Indonesia and be placed at MT Haryono, Jakarta Selatan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Economic & Business, Business Management or related major; postgraduate degree preferred
• Fresh graduates welcome to apply
• Previous working experience as a Trader for commodity (e.g. corn, soy bean, sugar) is a plus
• In-depth knowledge of current trends of commodities market around the world
• Experience trading in the derivatives market
• Excellent communication & negotiation skills, written and spoken, in English and Bahasa
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Willing to be placed in MT Haryono, Jakarta Selatan and travel around Indonesia

Responsibilities

• Responsible to achieve sales and purchasing corn volume as requested
• Conduct negotiations on buying and selling activities (price, quality, and delivery)
• Ensure sales goods meet required quality
• Build good business relationships with partners, customers and government entities
• Initiate market intelligence on competitors' strategies
• Ensure execution of contracts and shipments to customers by resolving logistics issues
• Develop and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Job description
