Role Summary
The Business Development & Marketing is responsible for executing KH’s market development and partner engagement strategies across priority commodities. This role emphasizes operational execution, seamless coordination, and professional communication, requiring close collaboration with internal teams to effectively translate market demands into tangible business opportunities.
This position is ideal for candidates with early to mid-level professional experience seeking hands‑on exposure to commodities trading, strategic partnerships, and sustainable supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Support proactive outreach and engagement with potential buyers, traders, and strategic partners.
- Assist in the management of the sales pipeline and ensure timely partner follow-up.
- Contribute to the preparation of comprehensive commercial offers, proposals, and deal summaries.
Marketing & Communications
- Draft and refine content for outreach emails, formal proposals, and ongoing partner communications.
- Support the maintenance of a professional digital presence (e.g., LinkedIn content development, website updates).
- Collect, analyze, and organize fundamental market, buyer, and pricing intelligence.
- Monitor buyer requirements, market dynamics, and emerging trends.
- Support due diligence, background checks, and essential documentation for new partners.
Internal Coordination & Administration
- Facilitate efficient cross-functional coordination with sourcing, logistics, finance, and field teams.
- Track project timelines, monitor critical next steps, and ensure timely completion of action points.
- Maintain organized documentation and ensure transparent information sharing across the organization
Requirements
- 2–5 years of professional work experience in a relevant capacity (post‑academic).
- Proven exposure to business development, sales support, marketing, partnership management, or project coordination.
- Demonstrated interest in the agriculture sector, commodity markets, sustainability, or rural value chains.
- A pre-existing network and established buyers are considered advantageous.
- Proficiency in standard digital tools (Google Docs, Sheets, email, professional messaging platforms).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Proven exposure to business development, sales support, marketing, partnership management, or project coordination.
- Demonstrated interest in the agriculture sector, commodity markets, sustainability, or rural value chains.

Expected remuneration for this position is IDR 6,000,000 gross to a maximum of IDR 8,000,000 gross (depending on the experience and qualification of the successful candidate) and other benefits.
