Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Technical Consultant – Storage & Computing Solutions for a Tokyo-based role. You will design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-grade infrastructure across cloud, storage, and computing environments, translating architecture strategies into production deployments.

You will work with international engineering teams, implement IaC using Terraform or Ansible, handle cloud migrations, and document low-level designs for offshore delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in infrastructure engineering or enterprise IT.
• Strong cloud, IaC, virtualization experience; ITIL/PMBOK familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize enterprise storage and compute environments.
• Implement IaC with Terraform or Ansible.
• Lead secure cloud migration for databases and storage.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure bottlenecks.
• Create LLDs and design docs for offshore teams.
• Coordinate with international squads for deployment.
• Support modernization including cloud security and IoT.
