Job summary

Quality Engineering based in Indonesia is seeking an experienced API tester to lead and execute testing across banking domain projects. You will define API and integration testing strategies, design test scenarios, and validate REST, GraphQL, and microservices in collaboration with cross-location teams.

The role requires 7–9 years of testing experience in banking, strong Postman/Newman and automation skills, and hands-on SQL validation.

• Manage backend, database, and middleware validation activities.
• Lead defect triage and integration issue resolution.
• Build and maintain API automation suites.
• Coordinate with development, architecture, and external vendors.
• Ensure end-to-end ecosystem validation and release readiness.

Job description

Must Have - Rest & GraphQL

7-9 years testing experience in Banking Domain.

Experience in managing team from various location

Extensive experience in API and Integration Testing.

Able to automate API using Postman and Newman?

Strong proficiency in Postman, Newman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.

Experience with Microservices architecture.

Hands‑on knowledge of Kafka, MQ, RabbitMQ, ESB, or Event-Driven Architecture.

Strong SQL and database validation skills.

Experience with API Automation frameworks and CI/CD integration.
