Job summary

Youtap Limited seeks a Senior QA Lead to shape testing strategy for web and mobile apps. You will design robust test plans, drive automation across App, Web, and API, and integrate tests into CI/CD with Azure DevOps.

You will mentor analysts, triage defects, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure software quality and timely deliveries in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on software testing with web and mobile apps.
• 3+ years coordinating and mentoring other Test Analysts.
• Strong automation experience using Selenium, Cypress, Java, and JavaScript.
• Experience with API automation (RESTAssured, Karate, Postman).
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter).
• Hands-on testing on mobile app platforms (Android Studio, XCode).
• Exposure to Azure and AWS cloud environments.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Job description

1. Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, detailed test plans, and test data aligned with project goals.
2. Oversee the execution of test cases across various testing types, monitor test progress, identify defects, and track test coverage, and generate comprehensive test reports and metrics to assess software quality.
3. Design, develop, maintain, and evolve optimal test automation solutions in the areas of App, Web, or API
4. Drive automation initiatives and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar
5. Triage and prioritize defects based on severity and impact, track defect lifecycle and coordinate with development teams for resolution, analyze defect trends to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
6. Continuously evaluate testing processes and identify areas for improvement, implement new testing methodologies or tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
7. Mentoring and supporting other members of the team, with automation practices which can enhance the testing process.
8. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project managers, developers, and clients, manage expectations and address concerns related to testing activities, provide regular updates on test progress and quality status.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of hands‑on experience in software testing, focusing on web and mobile applications.
• 3+ years of experience coordinating and overseeing other Test Analysts' work, including mentoring and providing testing expertise on test processes and best practices.
• Proficiency in implementing and maintaining test automation using Selenium, cypress, Java, Katalon and JavaScript, with mobile app cloud testing exposure.
• Experience in API automation using tools like RESTAssured, Karate, and Postman.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or similar.
• Hands‑on Test Automation experience using Android Studio, XCode, Cross‑device testing, or similar, etc.
• Experience in Jira
• Technical troubleshooting, including log file analysis and basic data analysis
• Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure and AWS, facilitating efficient testing in cloud environments.
• Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to engage in internal and external technical discussions.
• Great communication skills in the English language, with a good command of verbal and written.
• Ability to work under competing deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ISTQB foundation testing certification or equivalent.
• Previous experience in coordinating testing activities over multiple release cycles.
• Previous experience in Financial or banking products
