Job summary

PT. SAAT INDUSTRI INDONESIA is seeking a packer machine technician in Malang. The role involves operating the packer machine, setting up and maintaining equipment, and ensuring efficient use of packaging materials while meeting quality standards.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, and liaise with maintenance planners to minimize downtime. A senior high/vocational background in technics and machinery is required, with at least 3 years of relevant

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as packer machine technician
• Experience with GD Machine preferred
• Willing to travel to Malang and cross-functional support required
• Vocational or senior high degree in technics and machinery

Responsibilities

• Operate packer machine and collaborate with team to maintain output and quality
• Perform first line maintenance on machinery and respond to maintenance needs
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance per maintenance planner
• Set up machine, troubleshoot, provide quick action during breakdowns
• Analyze machine issues and arrange spare parts as needed
• Evaluate machine problems and reduce stoppages and waste
• Use spare parts efficiently and notify when new parts are needed
• Ensure compliance with EHS policies and coordinate with EHS and supervisors
• Implement 6S to keep the work area clean and organized
• Willing to provide cross-function support
• Work in Malang and travel if necessary
• Willing to undertake ad hoc assignments

Position Introductory

You shall report directly to Secondary Production Supervisor

A packer technician not only operates the machine but also performs setup, maintenance, and minor repairs in the event of problems. Additionally, the technician is responsible for ensuring efficient use of packaging materials, monitoring packaging output to ensure compliance with quality standards, and supporting the achievement of company production targets

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate Packer machine and collaborate with all team members as needed during production process to maintain optimal product output with good quality
• Perform first line maintenance on machinery, equipment and immediate manufacturing area to assure production continuity and liaise with production support on maintenance activities for the sustainability of machines and equipment.
• Performing preventive & corrective maintenance and work order based on schedule from maintenance planner.
• Responsible for machine set-up, troubleshooting, support and fast action taken to solve machine Breakdown during production.
• Diagnostic and analysis if the machine need to do some corrective maintenance by request to get time slot & spare part replacement to maintain the machine performance.
• Able to evaluates and assesses machine problem by troubleshooting and completing repairs in a time manner, analysis study for the repeated machine stoppages & reducing reject and wastage.
• Use spare parts as efficiently as possible and provide information on spare parts that need to be purchased and order new parts when necessary
• At all times ensure compliance to EHS policies and standards and liaise with Secondary supervisor and EHS supervisor on any EHS related issues
• Implement 6S by maintain clean, neat, and organized work area properly

• Willing to take up cross function support
• Work in Malang and travelling if necessary.
• Willing to do ad hoc assignment if necessary
• Senior High Scholl or Vocational degree in technics and machinery
• Min of 3 years experience as packer machine technician, especially in GD Machine.
