Job summary

Telemecanique Sensors Indonesia (YAGEO Group) in Batam seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment running and minimize downtime. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and implement containment actions while coordinating with supervisors.

Role requires reading electrical schematics and PLC programs, plus at least 2 years of manufacturing maintenance experience. You will identify hazards, support continuous improvement, and document maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma or bachelor’s degree in Automation/Electronic/Electrical/Mechatronics/Mechanical.
• At least 2 years’ experience as Maintenance Technician in manufacturing.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings; PLC program debugging.

Responsibilities

• Provide best response time for every issue related with equipment breakdown.
• Perform quick troubleshooting repair and take containment action to fix current problem and prevent recurrence.
• Demonstrate quick feedback or escalation to superior for major breakdown and record for any single breakdown.
• Conduct Preventive Maintenance on production machines based on the schedule and share PM activity after completion.
• Identify hazards in the workplace, ensure safe work processes and understand procedures.
• Provide support for continuous improvement projects, internal or cross-department.
• Identify potential accidents and incidents and perform quick response to prevent near misses.
• Initiate and follow up improvement projects related to breakdown time reduction for critical equipment.

Job description

• Perform quick trouble shooting repair and take the containment action in order to fix current problem and prevent same problem in the future
• Demonstrate quick feedback or escalation to superior for any major breakdown and give accurate information and record for any single breakdown
• Conduct Preventive Maintenance on production machine based on the schedule given. To record and share PM activity task after PM done
• Identify hazard in workplace, ensure the work process with those hazards and fully understand the procedure in handling the hazard
• Provide support for continuous improvement project, internal or cross department
• Identify potential accident and incident and perform quick response to take positive action to prevent any potential accident and incident (near miss)
• Initiate, define, plan communicate and follow up any improvement project related breakdown time reduction for critical equipment

Requirements:

• Minimum diploma or bachelor's degree of Automation/Electronic/Electrical/Mechatronics/Mechanical
• At least 2 years' experience as Maintenance Technician in Manufacturing Company
• Experience to handle Preventive Maintenance and troubleshooting of customize machine
• Understand how to read and debugging from electrical schematic diagram and mechanical drawing
• Understand troubleshooting concept and able to do debugging from PLC Program
• Located in Batam
