Job summary

PT Bizlink Technology Indonesia is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform machine setup, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation systems. You will support production during breakdowns, model changes, and NPI, and must read drawings with a strong emphasis on safety and quality in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires at least a D3 in a technical field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience with mechanical/electrical

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform machine setup, adjustment, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance per established schedule.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, sensor, motor, PLC, and HMI issues.
• Verify machine parameters and setup conditions before production starts.
• Support production during breakdowns, abnormalities, and model changeovers.
• Troubleshoot crimping issues and support quality verification when required.
• Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring problems.
• Monitor machine condition, tooling wear, and spare-part requirements.
• Maintain records of breakdowns, repairs, PM, tooling maintenance, and downtime.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Support NPI, new machine installation and line setup when required.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and machine safety requirements.

Job description

Perform machine setup, adjustment, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to the established schedule.

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, sensor, motor, PLC, and HMI-related issues.

Verify machine parameters and setup conditions before production starts.

Support production during machine breakdowns, abnormalities, and model changeovers.

Troubleshoot common crimping issues such as incorrect crimp height, terminal deformation, wire feeding problems, and wire pull-out.

Support crimping quality verification, including crimp height and pull-force testing when required.

Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring machine problems.

Monitor machine condition, tooling wear, and spare-part requirements.

Maintain accurate records of machine breakdown, repair, PM, tooling maintenance, and downtime.

Support machine improvement activities to increase machine availability and reduce downtime.

Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Tooling, and external suppliers to resolve technical issues.

Support NPI, new machine installation, machine modification, and production line setup when required.

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety procedures and machine safety requirements.

Qualification

Vocational High School (SMK) or Diploma (D3).

Minimum education: Diploma (D3) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field.

Basic English communication skills. Ability to read technical manuals and work instructions is preferred.

Minimum 3 years of experience in machine maintenance, equipment engineering, or production equipment is preferred.

Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.

Basic knowledge of pneumatic systems, sensors, motors, PLC, and HMI.

Able to read electrical and mechanical drawings.

Able to perform machine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

Familiar with crimping quality characteristics such as crimp height, crimp width, and pull-force is preferred.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Willing to work in shift operations and support production when required.

Willing to work in a manufacturing/production environment.

Strong commitment to safety, quality, and production requirements.
PREFFERED SKILLS :

Experience with automatic or semi-automatic crimping machines.

Experience with Schleuniger, Komax, Mecal, or similar wire processing equipment.

Experience with crimping applicator setup and adjustment.

Experience using multimeter, vernier caliper, micrometer, crimp height measuring equipment, and pull-force tester.

Knowledge of PM, MTBF, MTTR, and machine downtime analysis.

Experience in automotive, electronics, or wire harness manufacturing is an advantage.
