Qualifications

About the role

PT. Meranti Adi Perkasa is seeking a Technical Support - Architectural professional to join our Design & Architecture team. This is a full-time position based in Serpong, Banten, offering a pivotal opportunity to provide specialised technical support to our architectural drafting operations. In this role, you will serve as a critical resource, ensuring that our architectural design processes run smoothly and that our team has the technical guidance needed to deliver exceptional results. You will bridge the gap between our architectural staff and technical systems, contributing directly to the quality and efficiency of our architectural deliverables.

Key responsibilities

Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to architectural staff utilising CAD software and other design tools

Assist with the setup, configuration and maintenance of architectural design software and hardware systems

Develop and deliver training sessions on architectural software, best practices and technical procedures to team members

Document technical issues, resolutions and procedures to create a comprehensive knowledge base for the department

Collaborate with architects and drafters to understand technical challenges and implement effective solutions

Maintain and update technical documentation, drawing standards and project specifications

Support the quality assurance process by reviewing technical aspects of architectural drawings and deliverables

Liaise with software vendors and IT teams to resolve technical issues and implement system upgrades

Assist with the organisation and management of project files, libraries and digital resources

What we're looking for

Proven experience in architectural drafting or design environments, with technical support responsibilities

Proficiency with industry-standard CAD software such as AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Revit or similar applications

Strong technical knowledge of architectural drawing standards, conventions and practices

Excellent problem-solving abilities with a methodical approach to diagnosing and resolving technical issues

Experience in providing user support and training to non-technical staff

Strong organisational and documentation skills

Ability to work collaboratively with architects, engineers and design professionals

A relevant qualification in architecture, architectural technology, or technical support would be advantageous

Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modelling) workflows is preferred

Familiarity with project management and file management systems used in architectural practices
