Job summary

Flowserve, a world-leading flow control solutions provider, is seeking a Sales Engineer in Jakarta Timur to build and deepen relationships with key customers and trade organizations, and to translate needs into compelling proposals. You will coordinate with application engineers, service and manufacturing to ensure customer requirements are met, demonstrate ROI, and drive bookings toward regional goals.

Candidates with 5–7 years in rotating equipment sales and knowledge of API 610 will fit well;

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a relevant field with 5–7 years of experience.
• Experience selling rotating equipment including pumps and mechanical seals.
• Knowledge of oil & gas, power, paper and chemical industries and API 610 familiarity.
• Strong skills in sales techniques, negotiations and business finance.
• Proven ability to lead meetings, set agendas and facilitate discussions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; project management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive bookings to meet or exceed the target.
• Maintain regular communication with key customers.
• Develop marketing plans aligned with regional sales objectives.
• Serve as primary contact for business dealings and customer concerns.
• Educate customers on product features using marketing materials.
• Collaborate with application engineers, customer service, and manufacturing to meet needs.
• Demonstrate financial acumen and ROI in solution selling.
• Travel to large customer sites and perform site visits as required.
