Job summary

ABB in Indonesia is seeking a Technical & Design Promotion Manager to lead proactive promotional activities for targeted audiences, presenting and educating customers about ABB products and tools, and building long-term relationships.

You will identify sales opportunities, plan visits, analyze outcomes, and travel regularly to support customer engagement as part of the Electrification Smart Building business in Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience handling Consultants, Developers, Project Owners, Contractors and MEP; experience in electrical companies would be advantageous.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to deliver technical seminars, demonstrations, and customer workshops.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to align technical solutions with customer needs and business objectives.
• Strong analytical skills to plan customer visits, assess outcomes, and translate insights into actionable opportunities.
• Good understanding of solution selling, value proposition development, and customer needs analysis.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to travel regularly to support customer engagement activities.

Responsibilities

• Implementing proactive promotional activities, including technical presentations, demonstrations, seminars, educational material, and technical development of projects and solutions for the customer target group.
• Creating plans for target audience visits and conducting regular status reviews, including analyzing and deriving the insights and output of the visits.
• Establishing and maintaining effective long-term relationships with target group customers to understand their needs and to ensure they are well-informed of the ABB product, systems, services offering, features, and benefits.
• Ensuring efficient marketing activities and strong value proposition to customers by using effective promotional techniques.
