Job summary

PT Graphic Packaging International Indonesia is hiring a Technical Project Lead to guide packaging product development and ensure alignment with delivery targets and quality expectations. You will oversee color proof decisions, work with Production on tolerances and processes, and validate designs through trials.

Candidates should have a Diploma 3 with 3 years of experience, knowledge of Offset/Rotogravure, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma 3 with 3 years of experience.
• Understanding of Offset and Rotogravure printing processes.
• Knowledge of color management systems.
• Understanding of printing plate, cylinder, and tooling manufacturing processes.
• Experience with offline converting, hot foil stamping, inline converting, and embossing.
• Proficiency with Windows-based computers and MS Office software; ability to use Adobe Pro.
• Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
• Familiarity with GMP and ISO quality systems (ISO 9001/ISO 22000/FSSC).

Responsibilities

• Lead product development processes to meet customer delivery targets and quality standards.
• Make decisions during color proof print as per customer guidelines.
• Discuss tolerances, printing sequence, and production methods with Production.
• Validate designs via barrel proof and print trials with cross-functional teams.
• Approve SCR submissions from Product Development staff.
• Coordinate with Planning to schedule proofs, trials, and material needs.
• Coordinate with Prepress for layout tooling and S&R creation.

Job description

Technical Project Lead (Packaging Product Development)

Lead product development processes to ensure alignment with customer delivery targets while maintaining efficient operational standards and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

Execute product development processes according to customer requirements

Make decisions during color proof print processes in accordance with customer guidelines

Discuss with Production team to determine tolerances, printing sequence, and optimal production processes

Validate designs through barrel proof (Rotogravure products) and print trial (Offset products) in collaboration with Production, Tool Maker, and Ink Maker teams

Validate colors and approve Standard Color Range (SCR) submissions from Product Development staff

Coordinate with Planning team (PPC & IPC) to schedule proof print, trial, and raw material arrangements

Coordinate with Prepress team for layout tooling and file S&R creation

About you

Minimum Diploma 3 degree with 3 years of experience

Understanding of Offset and Rotogravure printing processes

Understanding of color management systems

Understanding of printing plate, printing cylinder, and tooling manufacturing processes

Understanding of offline converting, hot foil stamping, inline converting, and embossing processes

Proficiency with Windows-based computers and Microsoft Office software

Ability to operate Adobe Professional software

Understanding of project management

Knowledge of printing process raw materials: paper, board, ink, and lacquer

Strong leadership, planning, and interpersonal skills with ability to direct and develop team members

Basic knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSSC, and FSC management systems

Strong English communication skills in written and verbal forms
