Job summary

You will break down requirements into tasks, design robust backend systems, and drive architectural decisions across microservices and distributed systems.

The ideal candidate brings senior leadership, deep problem-solving skills, and experience with backend engineering, databases, and DevOps collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of Software Engineering experience, with Senior Engineer/Tech Lead experience.
• Strong knowledge of Backend Engineering, System Architecture, and System Design.
• Experienced with Microservices, Distributed Systems, MySQL/PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of ERD, Use Case, and Sequence Diagrams.
• Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Fintech/Payment/Financial Systems experience is a plus.
• Node.js/TypeScript experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical analysis, system design, and development planning.
• Break down requirements into clear engineering tasks and priorities.
• Design and review backend systems, APIs, microservices, databases, and distributed systems.
• Conduct code and technical reviews to maintain engineering standards.
• Troubleshoot complex technical and production issues, including performance optimization.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Product teams.
