Job summary

PT Admin Pintar Kita is seeking a senior backend engineering lead in Jakarta to own architecture decisions, guide the team, and stay hands-on with coding and reviews. You will shape technical direction while solving production issues in a fast-growing platform that unifies messaging and AI.

Qualifications

6+ years of backend engineering experience.
Experience at a senior level or leading a small team (3–4 people).
Strong in Node.js; Python is a plus.
Solid with PostgreSQL, RESTful API design, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS).
Comfortable owning code review standards and making calls without a fully complete spec.

Responsibilities

Final approver for backend merge requests; set and hold the quality bar.
Make architecture calls and act as the technical decision-maker when CTO is unavailable.
Lead root cause analysis on production issues through to resolution.
Onboard new engineers and mentor the team through code review and design discussions.
Design and build backend services and APIs for our messaging and AI platform.
Own integrations with WhatsApp Business API, Instagram, LINE, Telegram, and payment/CRM partners.
Optimize for high-concurrency, real-time messaging workloads.
