Job summary

PT Dias Naga Alpha is seeking a Technical Lead to act as the COO's strategic technical right-hand. In a flat startup setting, you will align operational strategy with multi-disciplinary engineering execution, across software, cloud, network, and physical infrastructure.

You will author system design plans, create deployment playbooks, and lead cross-functional teams while maintaining a security-first approach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in hybrid engineering across software/cloud and network/infrastructure.
• Experience authoring system design plans and architecture blueprints.
• Ability to translate technical concepts to business objectives for leadership.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Indonesian.
• Comfort in fast-paced, flat-team environments.

Responsibilities

• Author high-level system design plans spanning cloud, software, hardware, and physical infrastructure.
• Create technical guidance docs and deployment playbooks for software, networking, and site builds.
• Assemble and resource cross-functional project teams from diverse pools as needed.
• Evaluate build-vs-buy options by comparing external equipment with in-house solutions.
• Review designs to minimize tech debt and ensure cross-stack compatibility.

Job description

As a Technical Lead you will work as the strategic technical right-hand to the COO. In a flat startup environment, you will bridge the gap between operational strategy and multi-disciplinary engineering execution. This role is flexible and responsive to immediate needs for extra support in different work areas. Operating in a security-first environment, we place the highest importance on trust, discretion, and confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Author high-level system design plans including spanning cloud, software, hardware, and physical infrastructure
• Create technical guidance documentation and clear technical standards and deployment playbooks for software, networking, and physical site builds
• Assemble and resource cross-functional project teams dynamically (e.g., pulling from development, network engineering, or field technician pools)
• Evaluate external vendor equipment and platforms against building in-house technical solutions (build-vs-buy analysis)
• Conduct strategic reviews of proposed technical designs to minimize technical debt and ensure compatibility across diverse stack

About you

• Clear and comfortable communication in English and Indonesian (written and spoken)
• 5+ years of hybrid engineering experience crossing at least two of core domains (e.g., Software/Cloud + Network/Infrastructure)
• Proven experience authoring system design plans, technical architecture blueprints, and internal engineering documentation
• Broad conceptual grasp of modern infrastructure technologies, including cloud platforms, network security protocols, SD-WAN/satellite deployment, and industrial power setups
• Exceptional cross-functional communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business objectives for the COO
• Thrives in a flat, fast-paced environment where project scopes shift dynamically from software sprints to physical infrastructure rollouts
