Job summary

Terra Drone Indonesia seeks a Drone Engineer to support end-to-end drone operations, including research, data analysis, pilot training, and hands-on maintenance. You will ensure reliability through repair, compliance, and documentation while engaging customers during trials and demonstrations.

The role requires on-site work with flexible hours, strong electronics skills, and fluency in English to communicate across teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; up to 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with QGroundControl and Mission Planner.
• Experience with DJI drones or custom UAV platforms is an advantage.
• Ability to operate drones; a valid drone pilot certification is preferred.
• Proficient in soldering, electronic troubleshooting, and hardware assembly.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation skills.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management abilities.
• Fast learner, adaptable, and willing to work on-site with flexible working hours.
• Good command of spoken and written English.

Drone Engineer is responsible for supporting end-to-end drone operations, including research, data analysis, pilot training, and technical troubleshooting. This role ensures the reliability and performance of drone systems through maintenance, repair, and compliance with operational standards. The position also involves customer engagement through trials, as well as administrative responsibilities such as reporting, auditing, and claims handling.
