Yayasan Budha Tzu Chi Wiyata Indonesia is seeking a librarian to support the IB curriculum by integrating information literacy, research, and inquiry-based learning into classroom activities.
The role collaborates with teachers to develop students’ research and academic honesty skills, manages print and digital resources, and promotes a culture of reading and independent learning through engaging library programs.
Support the IB curriculum by integrating information literacy, research, and inquiry-based learning into classroom activities.
Collaborate with teachers to develop students’ research, critical thinking, and academic honesty skills.
Manage and develop the library collection, including print and digital resources aligned with curriculum needs.
Promote a culture of reading and independent learning through library programs and activities.
Maintain efficient library operations, including cataloguing, circulation, and resource organization.
Support students and teachers in using digital resources, databases, and research tools
Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science, Education, Information Science, or related field.
Teaching qualification or certification is preferred.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a school library or educational environment.
Familiarity with IB curriculum (PYP/MYP/DP) and inquiry-based learning approach is preferred.
Strong knowledge of information literacy, research methodologies, and academic referencing.
Experience with library management systems and digital learning platforms.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with teachers and students.
Strong organizational and resource management abilities.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
